Sasha Bruno, Licensed Acupuncturist

Sasha’s background and experience in anthropology, natural remedies, alternative medicine, herbal medicine, migraines, mental health and self healing extends over 10 years. She first discovered acupuncture while working at Whole Foods Market when her coworker suffering from Lupus said acupuncture was the only thing that helped her. This opened her eyes to the holistic healing power of Eastern Medicine for all conditions and ailments, including the difficult ones.

She received her BA degree in Anthropology from Boston University and began her training in Acupuncture and TCM in January, 2015. While attending classes, she apprenticed and trained at the NSEV Healing and Acupuncture clinic in Miami Beach, FL from 2015-2017 and managed the adjacent Chinese herbal pharmacy, Orion Herbs. There, she witnessed the true miracles and wide range of conditions that acupuncture and herbs can help with firsthand.

She moved to Ohio in 2017 to continue her functional food business, Botanibites, and transferred to the American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus, OH in 2019. In early 2021, she sold her business to a local herbal company and graduated in March, 2021 with her Master’s degree in Acupuncture.

Her acupuncture treatments today incorporate the methods she learned at the NSEV Healing clinic during her apprenticeship. She believes addressing the deep, underlying, psycho-somatic relationships behind our pain, conditions, and ailments is the most effective way to truly heal. Her goal is to modernize the holistic, ancient techniques of acupuncture and TCM. She specializes in women’s health, migraines, anxiety, mental health, pain, acute and chronic illness, and autoimmune conditions.

Treatments utilize many different modalities including acupuncture, cupping, guasha, heat therapy, and moxibustion, depending on your specific condition(s) and symptoms.
